I am delighted to speak on this afternoon’s panel on the US- China Relationship, together with Susan Shirk, moderated by Andrew Tilton and organized by Goldman Sachs in Hong Kong. I made a particular point of expecting Washington and Beijing to head for a period of uneasy reconciliation in the next few years.

I have been following this Substack column for several weeks now. It is not worthy of being called a column to be honest. The author rarely posts. When he does it is either very short with very little substance or it is a link to some other article that has been written. Really not very useful. I am signing off.
