O Canada

Today, I had the pleasure of attending the Canada Day reception at the JW Marriott Hotel, hosted by CG Charles Reeves. Instead of playing a recording, two members of the consulate staff performed the Chinese and Canadian national anthems live. I have always known that my birthday coincides with the founding of CCP and Hong Kong SAR,  but I was delighted to discover that I also share my birthday with Canada.
