China's ride-hailing giant Didi Chuxing is finally out of the doghouse
The company put out a statement today that effective immediately it has been allowed to register new users. Last year, China has fined 8.026 billion yuan (US$1.2bn) for breaking its cyber security laws.
In 2021, the authorities ordered Didi to be removed from app stores and launched an investigation days after the firm moved forward with its New York listing, against Beijing’s express wishes.
